5 Powerful Goal Setting Tools to Spark Your Achievements

The other day I was having a talk with a friend of mine, during which he told me about a problem that he has struggled with for a long time. I listened carefully, and then shared some of the goal setting strategies that I have been implementing for the past couple of years. I explained that goal setting has been a total game changer for me. Whenever I set a new goal, I always give it a date by which it should be achieved, at least partially. If these deadlines are not met, I know that I haven’t done what I have promised myself to do. This makes it very hard to lie to yourself about the made progress, and it pushes you to be a lot more proactive.

Making the Decision to Start an Online Business This New Year – Part 1

As a new year’s resolution, I made a solid decision to start an online business in the year 2017. Why? Because I can.

I am one of those people that cannot sit still for too long. I know that comfort and peace are what we ultimately look for, but so far I have had no luck in finding those, nor I really want to. I know myself and I know that in order to be satisfied, I need to keep on moving forward. If I don’t move on, I get extremely bored, and I know that many of you can relate to me here. Some begin to take drugs, some drink alcohol, and some play video games. In the long run, it really doesn’t matter what you choose – they are all different ways of running away from life. I, in this case, know that starting an online business will keep me excited and occupied for many years to come, regardless of whether I will experience success or failure. The goal is to move on, learn new things, and to keep on crushing it!

What Our Parents Never Told Us About Time

I don’t know about you, but when I was a kid, my parents used to tell me that life is short and that time flies fast. “In a blink of an eye you will become a grown-up”, they said. But to be honest, that never really caught my attention. The most important thing that my parents forgot to tell me is why all of that mattered. So what if time flies fast? So what if I become a grown-up soon? I want to become a grown-up so that I could already make my own decisions!

I was also told that when I became older, their words would make more sense to me. It’s true, now the do. But I just wish that they could have spent more time explaining why the ticking clock makes such a difference.

So what is perfectionism? At first glance, you could look at it in the context of self development and think that it actually is quite a beneficial character trait. Basically, everything that you do, you do with quality. You think about your decisions well in advance, and once you take action on them, you make an effort to do extremely well.
