In this post, I want to talk about shipping products to Amazon and how to choose a freight forwarder that’s worth your money.

I always say that selling with Amazon FBA is a great business model if done correctly. It’s fairly easy to do, it’s profitable and you can quickly scale the business if you have the means to do so. But what I love most about Amazon FBA is that it’s a passive business. 

Most of the actual work happens only when I research products and get my listing up. Other than that, I put in the minimum amount of effort. I can check the Amazon seller account every couple of hours and see my products being sold and money coming in, while I didn’t lift a finger to make it happen. A truly incredible time we live in…

That being said, just like with any other business out there, difficulties and problems may arise at any given moment.

Is Amazon FBA Too Saturated? Is There Still Money to Make?

Is Amazon FBA too saturated? This is probably the most popular question I see being asked on the internet regarding Amazon FBA.

Only a year ago I too was asking that very same question. I wasn’t yet selling then, but I really wanted to. The only thing that was holding me back was the thought that I won’t make any money. I was afraid of putting in the time, the effort and money, and not getting back anything in return. So whenever I hear the question “Is Amazon FBA too saturated?”, I can understand people’s concern and relate to it. But on the other hand, I don’t understand when that question on its own holds people back from even trying. As Wayne Gretzky once said, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

Amazon FBA: The Mistake That Could Have Cost Me $3000

Amazon FBA is still a relatively new platform for me. But despite being on it for less than half a year, so far things have been going quite well. Yes, there were a few issues here and there, but nothing major. These are the types of issues we all come across when getting into something new. There is, after all, a learning curve to selling physical products online.

That being said, recently I came across a problem that could have cost me potentially more than $3000. I know that if I would have lost that money, it wouldn’t have been the end of the world. But hey, let’s face it, no one wants to throw away 3000 bucks!
