How to Control Emotions Like a Pro – Your Quick Guide

Being of emotional character type isn’t easy. I say this because this is how I felt my whole life, and this is what I observe amongst some of my friends. On the one hand, a life full of vivid emotions is exciting, but on the other hand, it’s like a rollercoaster, like an animal that’s impossible to tame.

Of course, like anything else in life, being emotional has its benefits, but that’s not my focus here today. I am talking about the emotions that lead us to sudden sadness, hate or anger, the unwillingness to hold back destructive words or phrases aimed at others. I am talking about the emotions that get us in trouble at work, at home and out on the streets. These are the emotions that put us into situations that we later regret, that we would have never gotten into, if only we were better at controlling ourselves.

How to Not Give a F*** About What Others Say – It’s Your Life, Live It the Way You Want To

We are amazingly good at killing off our motivation, progress, and success. We can wake up one morning, thinking that today is the day that we conquer the world and make our dreams a reality, but after having had our morning coffee, we realize that those were just empty thoughts. There are too many obstacles on the way and life’s just too hard in general. I mean, if all of what we dream was realistic, everyone would be doing it, right?

You are right about life. It is complicated, and it should be. If it would be easy, then success would not mean much to us. Things like fulfillment, would probably also not be existent. Only through hard work, persistence and dedication, we can experience true fulfillment in life. And by this, I mean the feeling that you get when you accomplish something great, which also leads to true happiness; not the happiness you get when you buy a new pair of sunglasses or eat out.

Stop Doubting Yourself: Learn How to Be a Risk Taker

Visualize right now that you are a risk taker. Imagine that all of your fears have vanished, and there is nothing and no one to hold you back from doing the things that you have always wanted to do. What would your life be like? Would you be a successful businessman or businesswoman? Would you be living in another country? Or would you be a doctor instead of what you are doing now? Just let your imagination free.

In my last post, I talked about the importance of investing in yourself and your future. I am convinced that those people who understand the importance of being in the state of continuous learning, are going to be the ones that can attract the most success in life. The approach is extremely simple. You learn something new, and then you apply it. You learn another thing, and you apply that as well. But unfortunately, most people stop actively learning the day when they don’t have to anymore – after their graduation.

Don’t Give Up! Overcoming Obstacles and Making Your Dreams a Reality

Waking up and being excited about the day is one of the best feelings that one can have, especially when it happens on a regular basis. This indicates that whatever we are doing, it is in alignment with who we really are. It means that we are on the right path towards achieving our goals.

Unfortunately though, seeing highly motivated people is a rare occurrence. The majority of us like to play it safe. This means having stability in life and staying within the comfort zone. This also means doing what everyone else is doing and what we have been taught to do by the older generations. “Get a good education. This will earn you a prestigious job and all of the other benefits that you need. Also, buy a house and a car.” We all have heard these or similar words before.
