Why Investing in a Course, Coach or a Mentor Is Your Most Precious Asset

Not so long time ago I decided to start a new online business. It took me some time to choose the business model that I want to pursue, but after finally picking one, there was another big decision that I had to make. I had to find the right people that would teach me everything I needed to know about selling on Amazon.

I am a firm believer that almost nothing in this life can be done well without having a coach or a mentor. Regardless of the field you are trying to get into, you must have someone to show you how to do it. Sports, music, languages, cooking, business, yoga, meditation, etc. – all need a coach or a mentor. Sure, you can do those without someone guiding you, but don’t expect outstanding results. If you are trying to learn a new sport on your own, there is a strong possibility that you will hurt yourself. And if it is an instrument or a language, you are going to have a hard time in the future unlearning the things that you might have learned incorrectly.

5 Powerful Goal Setting Tools to Spark Your Achievements

The other day I was having a talk with a friend of mine, during which he told me about a problem that he has struggled with for a long time. I listened carefully, and then shared some of the goal setting strategies that I have been implementing for the past couple of years. This makes it very hard to lie to yourself about the made progress, and it pushes you to be a lot more proactive.

This is called destructive criticism. As a result, we want to defend ourselves whenever we are criticized, even when real constructive criticism is offered.

What Is Self-Confidence and How to Learn to Believe in Yourself

Self-confidence and the ability to believe in yourself do not come easily, but certainly are attainable. I can tell you this from personal experience. As a matter of fact, I am a walking proof that no matter how little you think of yourself, if your motivation is strong enough, anything is possible.

In psychology, there is a never-ending debate on which affects us more, nature or nurture? On the one hand, we are born with a number of traits and behaviors that feel more natural to us, but on the other hand, we are heavily influenced by our surroundings. In the case of self-confidence and the ability to believe in yourself, both nature and nurture were against me.

6 Real Reasons to Keep a Daily Journal – Living in Awareness

Some of my readers may think that keeping a daily journal is what only little girls do, but don’t be so quick to judge. I will try to convince you that keeping a daily journal is something that each one of us should do if we are seriously looking into changing the quality of our life.

There are mainly two reasons why I decided to bring this topic up and to share it with others. The first reason lies in the fact that keeping a daily journal has tremendously changed me in a positive way in so many different areas of life. The second reason is that the majority of people out there underestimate the power of journaling. We tend to think that keeping a journal has no real practical implications to it, and therefore no use of having one. And even when we do understand the potential of journaling, we procrastinate and are too lazy to do it.
