The other day I was having a talk with a friend of mine, during which he told me about a problem that he has struggled with for a long time. I listened carefully, and then shared some of the goal setting strategies that I have been implementing for the past couple of years. On the one hand, we are born with a number of traits and behaviors that feel more natural to us, but on the other hand, we are heavily influenced by our surroundings.
